Apparently the Umbrella singer is planning to purchase a pad in Kensington and Chelsea, so she can be close to her record label HQ.Since Rihanna is known to have a few jealousy issues, we’re sure Chris Brown will be spending a fair amount of time living in London with his girlfriend as well.

piers_morganTV judge Piers Morgan reckons his fame in the States is greater than Posh and Becks’.

The former tabloid editor, now a judge on America’s Got Talent alongside Simon Cowell, believes the American public have fallen head over heels for him.

‘In Hollywood, I’m a lot more famous than the Beckhams,’ he boasts. ‘And I definitely get better tables in smart restaurants than I used to because I’m more socially acceptable.’

Piers, 42, says he hams up his English accent – because Americans love his rounded vowels.

RED DWARF RETURNS TO EARTH!!

2 02 2009

The Red Dwarf crew will be returning to Earth when the cult sci-fi show returns to TV later this year.

Red Dwarf: Return To Earth will reportedly see last human Dave Lister (Craig Charles) achieve his life-long goal of touching down on his home planet.

The two-part special, which has been commissioned by digital channel Dave, will reunite original cast members Charles, Danny John-Jules, Chris Barrie and Robert Llewellyn one decade after the iconic comedy ended.

Speaking to The Sun, Barrie confirmed the plot, saying: “Yes, Lister’s dream is about to come true. But like everything in Red Dwarf, nothing is straightforward.”

Written and directed by Red Dwarf creator Doug Naylor, the special episodes will kick off a special Easter weekend of Red Dwarf on Dave.

Return To Earth will be followed by Red Dwarf: Unplugged, which has been described as a “no holds barred” episode with no sets, no effects and no autocue. The weekend will close with Red Dwarf: The Making Of Back To Earth, which will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the new production.

The programme ran from 1988 until 1999, winning numerous awards including an international Emmy. It has sold more than seven million DVDs and videos across the world and at its peak, pulled in eight million viewers.

Big Brother comes to an end!!

2 02 2009

Bosses at Channel 4 are reportedly expected to announce that this year’s Big Brother will be the last.

An insider at Channel 4′s hits show Big Brother told the Daily Star that the decision was taken after repeated attempts to freshen the format failed.

The source said: “Shortly after the Celebrity version of the show, key members of staff were told it was ‘highly unlikely’ to return. Everyone was disappointed but most people realise it has run its course.

“This year may be the final chance for many people to step inside the house, earn their 15 minutes of fame and cash in on the show’s popularity. There’s still a tiny hope it will return but it’s 99% certain it will be 10 and out for the show.”

This year’s Celebrity Big Brother drew to a close last month, with Ulrika Jonsson crowned the series winner. We say, that will be a big mistake as this is Channel 4′s biggest show!!

Lilly Allen goes Topless!!

2 02 2009

We all know how risky it is to text saucy photos to, um, special friends – but sometimes people (not us, of course) just can’t help themselves. And it seems Lily Allen is one of those people – and as someone in the spotlight, she should really know better, as who knows whose hands such goodness could fall into? Well, we at Invincible Newspaper know actually – because she’s talked about it. As Invincible Newspaper interviewed, Radio 1′s,  Chris Moyles he revealed that Kaiser Chiefs’ frontman Ricky Wilson had told him he’d received a picture of Lily with her boobs out. Explains Chris, “Ricky goes to me: ‘I got this weird text the other day from Lily Allen of her topless. And I’m looking at it going ‘why has she sent me that?’! Literally a minute later ‘beep beep’.. Sorry, wrong Ricky!’” So we  asked Lily if Ricky’s story was true… and, amazingly, it is! “That was really embarrassing,” she said. “I was completely topless.” OK, so we’ve all seen pictures of Lily’s, er, lils, but we’d still be a little alarmed if they suddenly popped up on our phone. We wonder which Ricky they were really meant for – Ricky Martin? Ricky Butcher? Ricky Gervais? The mind boggles…Just for answering our calls (special thanks Miquita Oliver from T4 for the connection). We have decided to plug her forthcoming second album, tentatively titled ‘Stuck On The Naughty Step’, will be released on February 9, 2009. Check  tracks from her album on the Evan Clucas breakfast show each and every Tuesday from 9am till 12pm on www.invincibleradio.com

Pete Doherty recieves an offer he can’t refuse!!

2 02 2009

According to Heat,  Pete’s just received from washing machine experts Indesit. They’ve generously decided to donate one of their snazzy new Indesit Moon washing machines to the hygienically challenged star so that Pete can clean up some of those piles of dirty clothes scattered around his home. Pete might want to consider putting himself through the wash too, he’d look almost presentable after going through the heavily soiled programme.  So, we called Pete’s agent to find out if there was any truth behind the rumours . She said “Yes there has been an offer and we are still to recieve it”. Awwwww, how sweet ?  or is it good marketing on behalf of Indesit… ? You decide ? pete
